Project Manager needed: We are looking for a purveyor of projects, steward of spreadsheets and a master of time and space to help us finish Bear and Breakfast, our first video game.

We are an English-speaking, fully remote team with members from all over the world, but with a core few established in Romania.

You will have the important job of caring for the wellbeing of our team and project through any means you see fit, such as setting up schedules, creating roadmaps, telling us when we’re wrong and offering a kind word throughout.

We’re looking for someone who will

  • Have a clear understanding of our project and process

  • Guide us towards an efficient workflow - break down tasks, estimate milestones, recognize and point out dependencies, keep us on track for our goals

  • Keep us in check - Talk to us, make sure we’re on the same page and each working towards the bigger picture

  • Keep us honest - Be sincere about what is and isn’t working and offer an avenue to keep going

  • Help us finish this game in the time we have planned

It’s important that you know

  • We work in ClickUp, we expect you to be able to learn this task manager

  • You should have a cursory understanding of project management software and methodology

  • You will be managing a video game, so you should have a good idea about how video games work and how they are made

  • We are people-driven people. Our condition as human beings is at the root of our work and so should yours

  • We are keen to understand and work through our failings. You should be comfortable with giving and receiving direction

This is a remote position for full-time or part-time work, depending on your experience and availability, following a schedule that can accommodate a GMT time zone (regardless of geographic area).

Salary will be discussed after initial assessment, depending on experience and total amount of work hours.
